Day 1: Women yesterday
Eva-Maria Popp goes on a walk with you through historic Weimar. You stroll in the footsteps of numerous famous women who lived and worked in Weimar.Anna Amalia…Charlotte von Stein…Christiane Goethe…Maria Pawlowna…Walk, look, tell, impart knowledge, absorb… You will immerse yourself in the lives of many famous personalities: from Duchess Anna Amalie, to Lotte von Stein, the Bauhaus women and of course the German National Theater with our country’s first parliamentarians. On the same boards from which women’s suffrage was decided in November 1918, Eva-Maria Popp will give a fiery speech about how the historical events took place and what they have to do with our work in the present.
The day is crowned with a reading in the evening by Eva-Marie Popp from her latest book “#metoo contra yes we can”.

2. Day: women today
Day two is a special kind of workshop and is a time for each participant to take stock. Where am I? How am I today? What defines me? How happy am I? What can I learn from history? Where are there beliefs from history that still concern me, perhaps even inhibit me? In the classic atmosphere of the boutique hotel Amalienhof.
3. Day: Frauen Tommorow
Where do I want to go? What are my goals? What can I do to achieve my goals?
Day three is all about a successful and fulfilled future. Eva-Maria Popp will show what tomorrow’s society will look like and what opportunities this will create for us women. Combined with the personal goals and wishes that each participant had already formulated the day before, the practical implementation begins. What do I have to do to get to my goal? What does the practical implementation look like?? Successful female entrepreneurs in the region let us look over their shoulders.
A practical day that clears the way for a successful, happy and contented life. This can affect your job but also your private life and family. There is always a solution and always a path if you really want to take it.

From classical to Bauhaus
“You should enjoy” (Duchess Anna Amalia)
Goethe, Schiller, Bach and Bauhaus… our city is teeming with culture. Prominent women such as Duchess Anna Amalia, Christiane Vulpius and Gertrud Grunow are all too often forgotten. Enjoy private and individual exciting days at the VCH-Hotel Amalienhof in Weimar, full of long-forgotten secrets and stories.
You stay at the Goethehaus and the historic Old Town is at your feet.
Embark on a small, private journey in the footsteps of important female personalities from the classical period to the Bauhaus.
You will be personally accompanied by the cultural scholar, musician and author Dr. Ulrike Müller. Dr. Müller has devoted herself intensively to the feminine side of cultural history for more than 15 years and is the author of the picture book “bauhaus-frauen, Meisterinnen in Kunst, Handwerk und Design” published in 2009 as well as the book “Die klugen Frauen von Weimar”.
Course of the journey:
Day 1 (Arrival)- “Classic Entrée”
With a glass of sparkling wine and a charming view over Weimar, you will be welcomed on our terrace by the tour guide Mrs. Dr. Müller and Claudia Wießner, the management of the hotel. Afterwards we invite you to a culinary and literary evening in our salon „Wieland“.
Listen to the author and connoisseur of female cultural history, Dr. Ulrike Müller, with fine snacks and local wines in her literary salon program and author’s reading, “Your Spirit Has Really Wings”.
Day 2- “Classic all around”
After a hearty breakfast, Dr. Müller will pick you up at the hotel and start the day with a walk to the Goethe Schiller Monument.
Afterwards, you will follow in the footsteps of the Weimar ladies and cultural heroes and visit other important sites of the Weimar classical period as part of the city tour “WEIMAR WEIBLICH Klassik- Der Handgang hier seems very pleasant…”.
The highlight of the tour is, if desired and available, a visit to the restored Herzogin Anna Amalia Bibliothek dar. Afterwards, the city tour continues. After lunch together in a selected traditional restaurant, a LITERA-TOUR FEMALE through the Schiller-Wohnhaus awaits you.
The eventful day ends with a dinner together in the restaurant “Frauentor” and a subsequent reading from the book “Bauhausfrauen” with Dr. Müller.
Day 3 (departure)- “The Bauhaus shows”
Let yourself be enchanted by a guided walk through the historic Bauhaus buildings designed by Henry van de Velde (today a World Heritage Site). Accompanied by Dr. Müller, you will walk in the footsteps of the Bauhaus women, visit the Van-de-Velde university building and workshop building, then continue on to Haus am Horn and the exhibition settlement “Neues Bauen am Horn”.
After a short break, to rest, stroll or eat, the day ends with a private guided tour of the Bauhaus Museum under the motto: “From Utopias and Workshops: The Weimar Bauhaus & Weimar Bauhaus Women”.

Depending on request and availability, a visit to the Duchess Anna Amalia Library can be booked for an additional fee.
